Colonial Revival Style built in 1909 by Architect: Julia Morgan Builder: Delanoy & Randlett Cost: $10,000

An early example of Tudor Revival architecture, the house features clinker brick veneer on the first floor, with half-timbered stucco and high-pitched gables. Notice the ornately carved corner posts, the rounded corbels, and the leaded windows. The house sits on a double-size parcel, facing the garden and what originally was the driveway. In 1920 Julia Morgan converted a rooftop terrace above the kitchen into bedrooms and designed the double car garage and garden wall.
