This walking tour highlights the richness of architecture in and near the Bay Station Heritage Area of Alameda, California. It is an especially interesting area for the many residences designed and built by the firm Marcuse & Remmel. It is available to people who sign up for the walking tour via the link in our Alameda Legacy Home Tour website and is part of the education mission of the Alameda Architectural Preservation Society.

The tour features narration by local Alameda historian Woodruff Minor and author Judith Lynch, and also a chat with homeowners of one of the stops on the tour. Even without physically walking the tour, there is a lot of information about Alameda architecture available through the audio and pictures of each narrated stop.
