Leonardville and Beyond Walking Tour
1727, 1723, 1719 Clinton Ave.
Transitional Colonial Revival to Craftsman - Built between 1907 and 1909. The builder for 1719 was Delanoy & Randlett.
These three two story residences are great examples of the transition between the Colonial Revival and the Craftsman styles. The rooflines of the first two are gable, and 1719 has a hipped roofline with a dormer, an element of the colonial revival. The and materials used for the siding also sets them apart.
The original owner of 1719 Clinton was Fred N. Delanoy. It could have been purchased by him for personal use or as investment property.
