Transitional Romanesque Queen Anne - Built in 1896 by Joseph A. Leonard; Architect C.H. Russell Cost $20,000
Late Queen Anne style with shingled exterior. The shingles were originally dark brown and were painted in this light color when it was put up for sale in 2016. It is known as "The Leonard Mansion” as this was the architect's own home. It was also the largest and most expensive house that he built in this neighborhood. The original high peaked center roof was removed (see old picture in blue tint for reference). Notice the faceted and round towers flanking either side of the façade.
