Colonial Revival - Built in 1893 by Joseph A. Leonard Cost $16,000

Ahead of his time, while others were building Queen Anne Victorians, Leonard was looking ahead to the classic elements of the Colonial Revival style. Many details: diamond & undulating and wavy shingles, 5 sided bay, curved windows and front porch with Doric columns and intricate fretwork above the door.

Originally built in 1893 by J.A. Leonard Company, alterations and additions were recorded in 1902 in the amount of $3,610 - it's possible to speculate that this residence might have started its life as a Queen Anne and then was "updated" nine years later to a Colonial Revival.
