The Gold Coast and the Shore Before
1105 Sherman St.
Colonial Revival built in 1904 by Architect: Cunningham and Politeo & Builder: Delanoy and Randlett Cost: $8,500
This is a textbook example of a Colonial Revival classic box style. The fluted Ionic corner pilasters, the large corbels, and the keystone window trim are all elements commonly used in this era. Notice the double lap siding and the double dormers. Don’t miss the stained glass windows on the driveway side of the house.
