Italian Style built in 1877 Architect: Unknown Builder: S.E. Hawthorne Cost: $3,500

This two-story Italianate Residence was built in 1877. In 1890 it was moved from the southwest corner of Park Street and Alameda Avenue to its current location. Notice the arch-topped windows, indicative of the Italianate style. The original wood siding was covered in stucco sometime in the 1930s, and today we affectionately refer to it as a “Stucco-nate”.
