Prairie Style - Built in 1918 and 1916

These two houses are part of the trio (including 1003 Union) and are wonderful examples of the Prairie Style, which was made popular by Frank Lloyd Wright. Notice the flat, horizontal lines of each one. Of particular interest are the intricate brackets on the wide overhanging roof eaves on the porch of 1727.
