An “afterthought” house built on the lot that once belonged to the corner house at 931 Chestnut. A modest house with some Mediterranean touches and a heraldic shield on its entry porch. This type of house, with the living space above the garage, is more commonly found out in the Avenues of San Francisco and in Daly City.
