Dutch Colonial - Built in 1895 by Architect J. Marquis & C. L. Corrigan Cost $2,350
Dutch Colonial with a gambrel roofline. The first floor retains original characteristics: triple-lap siding, and doric columns on the porch and a charming Palladian window with 3-part lower section.
\*Palladian windows take their name from the Venetian Renaissance architect Andrea Palladio (1508-1580) who used them extensively during the earlier part of his career. In architecture it's a three part window typically composed of a large, central section flanked by two narrower, shorter sections having square tops.
