Despite its conversion since the 1950s to four units, including a rear addition, this cottage retains much of its original feeling. The basic form, with slant-sided bays at the front and sides, and a recessed corner porch with projecting portico, recurs in all six houses of the row. The roof is gabled and the porch has a “Palladian” profile with a high central arch flanked by columns. Another recurring motif is the angled configuration of the stairs, which turn at the bay to meet the porch.
