The design of the cottage combines porch and bay window motifs of the Queen Anne with the roof and surface treatment of the Colonial Revival. The porch stairs and balustrades have been replaced, but the rest of the exterior details are in good condition. The prominent porch has elliptical arches, flanked by a round-arched parlor window.
