Colonial Revival - Built in 1898 Cost $5,000

A very fine example of a Colonial Revival Classic Box. It has a hip roof with a large dormer window. Notice the ornate capitals on the Ionic columns, the egg-and-dart and the dentil detailing.

\* Egg-and-dart is one of the most distinctive classical cornice styles. It is an ornamental device typically moulded or carved. It consists of alternating details - typically an egg-shaped object alternating with a V-shaped element.
