City Historic Monuments, Historic Buildings, and AAPS Preservation Award winners will be easier to locate with AAPS sponsored plaques.
We kicked off our program with a plaque commemorating City Hall with its original tower, the first of a series of plaques for City Monuments. Following that, the recipients of one of our 2006 Preservation Award ordered a plaque for their house. AAPS started awarding bronze plaques to Preservation Award winners in 2012; now 1989-2011 winners can purchase plaques for their buildings as well.
The next two plaques to go on buildings are two of the new Historic Building bronze plaques: these plaques are available for buildings that meet certain criteria as historic or architecturally intact sites. For more information about our plaque program and how to order a plaque, please see the Historical Plaque Program page.
