The self-guided walking tour of over 30 houses in Bay Station continues. Get your donation ticket to the phone app and PDF, and walk the tour on your own schedule. Do the tour two times, or listen at home first and then walk it. Many options! Commentary on the phone app is by historian Woody Minor, author Judith Lynch, and homeowners in this neighborhood.
Availability starts on Opening Day with donation ticket purchase. Bay Station Heritage Area is on one of Alameda’s Slow Streets for outside exercise, and is full of Marcuse and Remmel designed and built residences.
Activities will include an architectural detail Scavenger Hunt for adults and children , an art contest for children to submit photos of Bay Station inspired art, and on the 27th, costumed, masked docents walking the tour.
